In giving the Holy Spirit, God promised that He will dwell in us, and we will dwell in him. It is no coincidence that the words for “breath” and “spirit” are linked in many languages, including our own. Our relationship with the Spirit is like our relationship with the air; we are surrounded by it, we move through it, and we draw it into ourselves, where it becomes part of our very being – flowing through us and giving us life.
